PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS
Undergrad and Grad

Applicants to the Landscape Architecture program are required to submit a portfolio. The portfolio is used to assess your aptitude for visual thinking and design.

Format
The portfolio format is flexible, but the department prefers 35mm slides, print photographs or photocopies of work. Please DO NOT send computer discs. If you send original work, the preferred formats for flat work are 8.5x11 or 11x17. Larger sheets can be sent in mailing tubes.

Types of Work
Examples can be in a variety of media, including freehand drawing, painting, printmaking, photographs, garden design, pottery, jewelry or any demonstration of creative endeavor.

Amount and Organization
The total number of works should be 10-12. Please include a list of the works in the portfolio, with the title, size, project intention and medium of each work. Please make sure your name is on each slide, photograph or actual work. If you would like your portfolio returned to you, please be sure to include prepaid shipping materials.
